Amarillo is home to unique cowboy culture, breathtaking canyon country, exciting professional sporting events and some of the best attractions in Texas. We have a 410,000 square foot civic center with a coliseum, two auditoriums and several spacious exhibit halls. Amarillo is also home to the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, a new performance hall with balcony, rehearsal and education rooms and a multi-level lobby. Combine these state of the art meeting facilties with 2,000 commitable hotel rooms, none further than 10 minutes from downtown, and your group has everything covered.

 








  Amarillo Civic Center

Amarillo Civic Center is one of the best, most versatile convention facilities in a city the size of Amarillo. It is located along Buchanan St. in downtown Amarillo with easy access from both Interstate 40 and Interstate 27. The Amarillo Civic Center can host conventions, meetings, concerts, hockey games, rodeos and a variety of special events.

The Center covers more than 340,000 square feet with a variety of facilities: a coliseum, exhibit halls, ballroom, auditorium and multi-purpose rooms. The newest part of the Amarillo Civic Center is the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,300 seat, world-class facility with near perfect acoustics that is home to the Amarillo Symphony, Amarillo Opera and Lone Star Ballet and a variety of other special concerts and events.

  Amarillo National Center

Amarillo National Center is located on the Tri-State Fairgrounds, just a couple of miles east of downtown Amarillo near the intersection of 10th and Grand Sts. It is the largest facility in Amarillo for equine and livestock events, with 5,000 permanent seats, a multi-purpose dirt floor and all the special facilities necessary to handle horses and livestock.
