The Amarillo Convention and Visitors Council offer a wide range of complimentary services to your convention.
Our staff will assist you in the following ways to ensure your event is a success in every way. If you have any

Promotional Items
The Convention and Visitor Council can provide your association with various promotional items such as (some items will carry a charge):
- Plastic Tote bags
- Amarillo "Boot" pins
- Various local attraction brochures & maps
- Name badges
- Pens
- Notepads
- VIP and/or Speaker gifts
Registration Assistance
The ACVC has vendors that can assist your registration committee during your peak registration hours.
Meeting Publicity
The Amarillo Convention and Visitor Council has information from printed materials, to images and video, we have a wide variety of tools to assist you in promoting your event. The ACVC also provides consultation regarding all your publicity needs. Staff will help with local press contacts and assist with other needs, from press releases to preparation and distribution and photography. We can provide your conference/event with postcards and also offer email blasts to alert your delegates of important conference info.
Expert Consultation
The Convention and Visitor Council can assist meeting planners with referrals for tours and special events. Whether you're looking for youth activities, spouse tours, shopping, and sports or dining, you can count on professional advice and implementation. We are also able to assist with transportation coordination.
Housing
If your convention requires more than three (3) hotels, we will provide a Central Housing Bureau for your room reservations. Our housing system offers on-line, mail-in or FAX reservations with extensive reporting functions and written confirmations. There is a minimal one time fee to your association for this service.
Catering
The Convention and Visitor Council cannot endorse any specific caterer but those on this list have good reputations.
